When I started my self-improvement journey(it took me a lot actually to even get up from my bed), I struggled to find a platform that resonated with me and offered the support I needed. There were countless websites and apps, but none provided the sense of community and personal connection I craved. That’s why I decided to start this newsletter - to create a space where you can freely seek support and connect with like-minded individuals. You can reach out to me anytime, and I’ll do my best to provide the guidance and encouragement you need.

Having social anxiety is not a pleasant experience; I have been there too. I completely locked myself away from the world, but eventually, I realized that I couldn’t stay like this forever. Before we begin, remember that no one is above or below you; everyone is on an equal playing field.

Before starting any conversation, it helps to use a “subconscious checklist.” Reflect on how you’re doing and what’s currently happening in your life. This self-awareness will make you feel more grounded and ready to engage with others.

When it comes to talking with strangers, it’s essential to understand why you want to start a conversation. Maybe you want to build a network, or perhaps you’re just interested in some small talk. Once you have a reason, look for common interests to discuss. Identifying a shared topic can make the conversation flow more naturally and reduce awkwardness.

To get to know acquaintances better, start with small talk to find a connection. Ask questions that genuinely interest you, which will make the conversation feel more engaging and authentic. Discovering mutual interests will help build a more substantial relationship over time.

Talking with friends should be natural, intuitive, and easy, as you’ve already done the hard work of establishing a connection. Each friend has their own unique character, so it’s important to know who you’re communicating with and tailor your approach accordingly. This awareness will help keep your interactions genuine and enjoyable.

In summary, talking to anyone—whether they are strangers, acquaintances, or friends—requires a bit of preparation, self-awareness, and a genuine interest in the other person. By approaching each interaction with confidence and openness, you’ll find it easier to communicate and build meaningful connections.
